Summary |
0001111: Print output is not exact 35x45mm |
|
Description |
Recently I came across this lovely program. However I have some remarks/suggestions.
I scanned in an official sized passport photo. I noticed that by duplicating it get distorted (while the 'automatic resize' is standard). Why not keeping the proper ratios? Okay, I no-opt that option (Ctl+A) and now it seems real. Then I used a European size (35x45mm) and that came differently out on my printers (31x44mm on my HP LaserJet 6L and - wonder, wonder - as 30x41,5mm on my Canon PIXMA iP1600). Either way not the expected 35x45mm.
If there was an option to enter variable sizes - instead of only preprogrammed countries - a user could experiment to get the exact wished output format (for official use/purposes) |
